Lost or Damaged Cards

Important: Managed at School Level

Lost or damaged cards are handled by the school, not parents. Your child should report immediately to:

  1. At the Booth: Select lost card option, enter serial number
  2. Liaison Officer: Report to designated school officer

  • Child not locked out during replacement wait
  • Can use booth with serial number instead of card
  • Daily withdrawal limits still apply
  • Replacement fee (UGX 8,000) deducted from Pocket Money
  • Parents receive SMS notification of replacement

PIN Security

  • Forgotten PIN: Child reports to Liaison Officer
  • Account Locked: After wrong attempts, contact Liaison Officer
  • Reset Process: Temporary PIN provided within 4 hours
  • Security Rule: PIN known only to child, never shared

Account Management

End of Term

All wallet balances carry forward automatically to next term. No money is lost.

Child Leaves School

Dial *272*80# → Select 4 "Agent/Merchants" or contact Liaison Officer. Balance returned to parent's MTN Mobile Money within 30 days.

Common Questions

Q: Child called but I missed it - can I call back?

No direct callback is possible. You can only send a voice message if your school policy permits.

Q: Sent money but balance didn't update?

Contact support with transaction details via *272*80# → Select 8.

Q: Can I send money to School Fees wallet specifically?

Yes, all fees-related top-ups can be directed to the School Fees wallet.

Q: Balance shows zero after sending money?

Check if termly service package (UGX 15,000) was deducted at term start. Review SMS notifications for details.

Multi-Child Management
